Full Mouth Dental Implants

We always hope that our teeth will last our entire life. However, that doesn’t always happen. When all of a person’s teeth fall out, they may feel they have no solution other than to invest in dentures.

That is simply not the case. Dental implant-supported bridges can provide a permanent solution to this problem. We have many different options that can fit each patient’s particular needs.

Restore Your Smile – Tooth Restoration at Marylebone Implant Centre

A dental bridge is a solution used to keep implants in place. A full-mouth fixed bridge not only provides a natural smile – it supports patient’s facial structure, which can be aesthetically compromised by missing teeth.

A full mouth fixed bridge is not an option for every dental patient. This option is considered by dentists only if there is enough tissue and gum in a patient’s mouth to support the arch. If you are interested in getting a full mouth fixed bridge, you should book an appointment with us to learn if you are a candidate.

Only the the Highest Quality, Most Durable Materials are Used in Our Treatments

At the Marylebone Implant Centre, our full mouth fixed bridges over dental implants are made of porcelain (whereas many other practices use materials such as acrylic). Considering the realistic appearance and feel they offer, porcelain implant construction is highly advisable in the process of full-mouth rehabilitation.

The advantages of porcelain crowns include:

  • Very durable construction.
  • Natural appearance.
  • High biocompatibility.
  • Helpful with mouth and jaw alignment.

What if a Full-Mouth Fixed Bridge isn’t an Option?

In cases where loss of bone, cheek and lip support are at an advanced stage, an implant-supported overdenture will be recommended instead of a full mouth fixed bridge.

What is an Implant-Supported Overdenture?

An implant-supported overdenture is a full-mouth rehabilitation treatment option.

By placing (usually) four dental implants, we are able to retain a custom-made overdenture. This will provide resistance and faciltate attachment to the implants.

The primary feature of the overdenture is its aesthetic benefit, which will allow restoration of a natural-looking smile. It is virtually fixed, being immovable while the patient is eating or speaking. On top of this, the overdenture is easy to maintain, with similar oral hygiene capabilities to natural teeth.

Typically, overdentures cost less than full-mouth fixed bridges.

3Shape TRIOS Scanner: Simplifying the Dental Implant Process

We at Marylebone Implant Centre are very proud to announce the addition of 3D scanning and CAD/CAM software to our practice.

This cutting-edge technology will be used by our clinicians to scan teeth and implants, effectively replacing the traditional process of putty impressions. As a result, the procedural planning stage is far more efficient, ensuring highly accurate & detailed implant treatments.
