When several teeth next to each other are missing, the strategic option in order to restore them may be a bridge supported by implants. In this case, 2 or more implants would give support to a 3 unit, or longer bridge. The number of implants supporting the bridge is dependent to the location of the bridge inside the mouth and to the engineering needs of that bridge (patients with a heavier bite may require more implants supporting a bridge).
In several studies published in the late 90’s early 2000 (Salama et all), it was shown that if several teeth in a row are missing in the anterior part of the mouth, a bridge supported by implants would allow a more favourable outcome rather than several implants next to each other. Here at the Marylebone Implant Centre, we provide an effective multiple teeth implant bridge for our patients, who have multiple missing teeth.
Our team of implantologist can assess your teeth and make an informed decision as to whether you may require the multiple teeth implant bridge procedure. We are proud to provide expert dental solutions to our patients which are both realistic and affordable. We understand how important it is for your teeth to appear natural and remain functional, which is why we work closely with our laboratory technicians to ensure that our products are of the highest quality.
