Smile Rejuvenation
After DSD (Digital Smile Design) planning, the posterior upper and lower molars were all removed due to fractures and decay, and replaced with dental implants allowing a proper function. The upper and lower teeth were restored with porcelain Emax veneers to rejuvenate and restore this patients smile.
Teeth-in-a-Day
Due to many years neglect, we removed all teeth and followed the teeth-in-a-day protocol. Dr. Santos fitted two sets of permanent, and fixed, porcelain teeth.
Very Worn and Discolour Teeth Corrected With Porcelain Veneers and Metal Free Crowns
Dr. Santos created a new prototype for his teeth through the Digital Smile Design protocol. Once we past this stage a minimal preparation of the teeth was done – just 0,3 mm of enamel was removed – making sure that the teeth would stay healthy, strong and unaffected, and a full set of upper and lower veneers and crowns was cemented.
Worn and Discoloured Teeth Restored with Porcelain Veneers in London
This patient came to the Marylebone Implant Centre with a very worn dentition, and with very discoloured teeth. Dr. Santos prepared her teeth and cemented permanently some porcelain veneers that have completely change this patient appearance and boosted her confidence.
Fractured Two Upper Front Teeth
This patient had her two upper front teeth with vertical fractures, which Dr. Santos replaced with two dental implants and two metal free crowns.
Corroded and Missing Teeth Restored with Dental Implants and Porcelain
This patient came to us with a history of poor dental care and aggressive treatments that have left him with several missing teeth. After a thorough diagnosis and dental treatment planning, we started his treatment, placed 7 dental implants, and prepared his teeth to be restored with crowns and porcelain veneers.
Aesthetics Improved After Gum Disease Treatment
When this patient first came to our practice he did suffer from a very advanced gum disease (Periodontal disease) and has a consequence he had several missing teeth, some teeth with a poor prognosis (very loose) and receding gums. Our aim, as with every patient that comes to our practice, was to restore function without forgetting the aesthetics – always trying to preserve as much as possible the natural teeth of the patient. After a careful discussion with the patient about his expectations and what would be the best treatment plan for him, he went through an extensive gum disease treatment, bone grafting, dental implant placement and crown and veneer restorations to restore the front part of his mouth. Nowadays, this patient feels a lot more comfortable while eating, and more confident about his appearance.
Lack of Teeth Affecting Digestion and Increasing Acid Reflux
Bilateral sinus lifts were performed with the simultaneous placement of the dental implants. Once the dental implants were healed (osseointegrated) they were restored with porcelain crowns. The front teeth were porcelain veneers.
Immediate Implant Placement to Replace Upper Front Failing Tooth
Dr. Santos enhanced the initial smile by matching the dental implant crown with the natural teeth. The great thing about this immediate placement technique is that she patient is able to keep a smile during all stages of the treatment.
Teeth Missing Since He Was 10 Years Old
Orthodontic treatment closed the gap and made space for the final tooth. A bone grafting was done previous to the implant placement. The final restoration was a Zirconia Implant Crown and Porcelain Veneers on the other front teeth.
Cosmetic Treatment
When this patient first came to the Marylebone implant Centre, she was extremely conscious about her teeth, she couldn’t smile or talking without covering her mouth. This patient had a mouth full of missing and heavily filled teeth that were breaking down due to her grinding habits. Also, she had an extreme phobia to the dentist. This lady developed the habit of always carrying with her a handkerchief that she used to cover her mouth while talking and that stopped others from seeing her teeth. Unfortunately it became an obsession and it took us a while until we could do a proper diagnose and propose a treatment plan to this patient. Thanks to the commitment of all our team we could gain her trust and made a life changing treatment for her. With the help of the Digital Smile Design protocol we could plan her new smile which we have changed with Emax, last generation, porcelain crowns and some dental implants. She is now very confident and proud of her new smile which has completely changed her relation with the world around her.
